Triplexes
Each room in our newly remodeled triplexes has either two single beds or one king size bed. Additionally, each room has a comfortable sitting area that includes a sofa that can convert to a bed, a private bathroom, and a kitchenette unit with microwave, coffee maker, and small refrigerator. The room cost includes three ample, delicious meals, served cafeteria style. Handicap accessible rooms are available.

Duplexes
Each duplex unit (15 and 16) includes a room with a double bed and another room with bunk beds and a kitchen. Each unit includes a private bath room.
The cost per room, including three meals, is $90.00/person/night double occupancy or $130.00/night single occupancy.
In both the triplex and duplex units, all linens are supplied. Rooms do not have televisions or telephones (see below). A swimming pool is available for guest use.
Meals
All rates for overnight lodging include three full meals each day. Food options include vegetarian, no red meat, or omnivore; advanced notice of food option is needed.
March through October, meals are served promptly at 7:30 am, 12:00 noon, and 6:00 pm. Guests eat family style in the dining room or at outside picnic tables. With 24-hour notice sack lunches can be provided. For hardy early-birds who would rather be birding at 7:30, a self-serve cold breakfast of cereal and juice can be arranged the night before with the cook and taken before 6:30 am. The kitchen is closed between meals.
For those not staying at the station, meals can be purchased in the dining hall (if we have room) with 24 hours advance notice. Prices for meals are: breakfast, $8.00, lunch, $10.00 and dinner $12.00. Please call to inquire. If the Station is full, it may not be possible to accommodate you.
Internet: Wireless is available in most outdoor station locations. A computer room is available for those that do not bring their own laptops. Internet at the station is free.

Winter rates do not include meals. However, accommodations with kitchens are available and a restaurant is located within five miles of the station.

Reservations for spring (March 1-June 15), fall (Sept. 1-Oct. 31) and winter (Nov. 1-Feb. 28) can be made at any time; a $40 per adult deposit is required. Deposits must be received within seven working days to guarantee reservations. Our cancellation policy requires a 72 hr advance notice. If a deposit check has been collected, and you have given a 72 hr notice, the deposit will be fully refunded. Deposits made with credit cards will not be charged to the card unless you fail to give the 72 hr notice. As the summer is our busiest research time, naturalist reservations are taken only two weeks in advance June 15-Aug. 31. Reservations will be taken between 8:00 am-5:00 pm (Arizona time) seven days a week at 520-558-2396 (winter months Monday-Friday) or email swrs@amnh.org

Personal and traveler's checks are accepted, as well as, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards.

Pets are not permitted. Please do not bring pets and leave them in your car.

Arizona does not go on daylight savings time; during the winter and summer.

The station has no cell phone service. A phone is located in our computer room and you may purchase a calling card in the Main Office or Gift Shop. Guests cannot be reached through the main Station number, 520-558-2396, except in real emergencies. Internet access is available for a small fee. Email is the best form of communication at the SWRS. You are welcome to bring your laptop or use our computer room.
